- 4REAL is a private, invite-only membership. You join by invitation and agree to keep it a good place.
- What you share is used only to connect you with other members and alert you to opportunities. Nothing is public. Introductions happen only when both people say yes.
- We are a community and an information service, not a funder, broker, or advisor. We do not give legal, financial, or investment advice.
- Be honest, be respectful, do not misuse other members' information, and do not spam.
- You can leave anytime. We can suspend or remove membership if these terms are broken.

1. Who we are and what this is
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and 4REAL (“4REAL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the 4REAL membership community and related services (the “Service”). By requesting an invitation, creating a profile, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and invitations
The Service is invite-only. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Invitations are personal, single use, and extended by existing members or by us. You may not sell, auction, or transfer an invitation. We may decline or revoke membership at our discretion, including where an invitation was obtained improperly.
3. Your account and sign-in
We use passwordless sign-in: you receive a one-time link by email that signs you in and creates a session. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity that occurs under your membership. Tell us promptly at info@4real.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. What the Service does
The Service helps members by surfacing funding, events, and other opportunities that may fit their work, and by suggesting introductions between members with complementary needs and offers. Suggestions are generated with the help of automated tools and human curation. We do not guarantee that any opportunity, match, or introduction will be available, accurate, suitable, or result in any outcome. You are responsible for your own decisions and diligence.
5. Introductions are double opt-in
We never share your contact details or introduce you to another member unless both sides agree to the introduction. When you accept an introduction, limited profile information (such as your name, the work you do, and links you chose to share) is shared with that member so you can connect.
6. Not professional advice
The Service, including any brief, match, or summary, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, or professional advice, and it is not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to enter into any transaction. Nothing here creates a fiduciary, brokerage, agency, or advisory relationship between you and 4REAL. Consult a qualified professional before acting.
7. Member conduct
You agree that you will: provide accurate information about yourself and your work; use other members' information only to pursue introductions and opportunities through the Service; and treat other members with respect. You agree that you will not: harass, defraud, or misrepresent; scrape, harvest, or redistribute member information; send unsolicited bulk messages; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data; or use the Service to break any law. Membership and the community exist on trust, and we may act to protect it.
8. Membership, trials, and fees
Some membership offerings may include a free trial and recurring fees, which will be described to you before you are charged. Where payments apply, they are processed by a third-party payment provider; your use of that provider is subject to its terms. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change offerings or fees on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the information and materials you submit. You grant 4REAL a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and use that information solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including generating your briefs and suggesting introductions as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to what you submit.
10. Suspension, deactivation, and leaving
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or deactivate a membership if these Terms are violated, if we are required to by law, or to protect members or the community. A deactivated member can no longer sign in or be surfaced to other members. If your membership ends, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
11. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for email delivery, payments, security, and automated analysis) and may contain links to third-party sites and opportunities. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any opportunity or match will be accurate or lead to any result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4REAL and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, opportunities, funding, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4REAL and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by email or a notice in the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and 4REAL agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, United States for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution, to the extent permitted by law.
